Quinton is a native of Prince George’s County, MD where he attended Frederick Douglass High School in Upper Marlboro. While there, he was 5 sport Letterman (football, swimming, indoor & outdoor track, and baseball), most notably excelling on the football field where he was a 1st Team Washington Post All-Met and Consensus 1st Team All-State selection as a Quarterback and Defensive Back. He went on to play Wide Receiver and Defensive Back at Syracuse University, where he graduated with a degree in Communications.
Upon graduation, Quinton returned to the area where he began to impart his wisdom and knowledge of the game and life on young aspiring student athletes. His goal has always been to help give any young person with similar goals to what he had growing up the tools to succeed and the information to make sound informed decisions.
While athletics have played a integral part of Quinton’s success, he has made it a priority for Wingbuilders Academy to develop not only great athletes, but well-rounded young people who may will find more glory away from the athletic playing fields than they will on it. In his own words, “We’re here to collect degrees not just jerseys or to take credit for the natural abilities God has blessed our children with.”
